Sentry (On-Site) Security Services
We provide exceptional on-site security services through our Sentry Division of officers. Our officers are trained to be your first-responder(s) to any incident or suspicious activity occurring on property, deter unwanted conduct or persons and enforcing your rules and policies at all times. In addition, our officers are trained in exceptional report writing and documentation ensuring that you have all the information you need. With our continuous presence of our sentry officers, you can be confident that your property is secure and protected under the vigilant eyes of our Security Officers.
Sentry Services (VA):
Armed Sentry Officer
An armed security officer “means a natural person employed to (i) safeguard and protect persons and property or (ii) deter theft, loss, or concealment of any tangible or intangible personal property on the premises he is contracted to protect, and who carries or has access to a firearm in the performance of his duties.”
A registered armed security officer of a private security services business while at a location which the business is contracted to protect shall have the power to effect an arrest for an offense/crime occurring (i) in his presence on such premises or (ii) in the presence of a merchant, agent, or employee of the merchant the private security business has contracted to protect, if the merchant, agent, or employee had probable cause to believe that the person arrested had shoplifted or committed willful concealment of goods.
A registered armed security officer of a private security services business shall be considered an arresting officer.”
Unarmed Sentry Officer:
An unarmed security officer/courier means any person who performs the functions of observation, detection, reporting, or notification of appropriate authorities or designated agents regarding persons or property on the premises that individual is contracted to protect, and who does not carry or have access to a firearm in the performance of their duties.
